Crona nervously enters the church. Venom is inside, and leaps to attack. Crona's shapeshifter grabs onto Venom and crushes it. Venom shoots a web at Crona. Venom engulfs Crona with a web, but she breaks out with her sword. Crona uses a screech and slashes at Venom. Venom uses a web, but the sword transforms and punches Venom rapidly.
Venom vanishes, and appears on the ceiling. He picks up Crona by their feet with its tongue. Crona is dazed, so Venom uses a blade to slash at her. Her black blood consmes the area. They both take to the sky, and clash with their weapons. Venom crushes Crona to the ground and slashes at Crona. Crona replies by sending Venom to the ground. Crona stabs Venom, and disintegrates him.
While Venom has resisted Ghost Rider's Penance Stare, it does not necessarily mean he's immune to all phychic related attacks and would resist Crona's Madness Wavelength. Venom has been affected by Hell Mark and Jean Grey in the past.
Even compared to Spider-Man's reaction speed and Spider-Sense, which are somwhat superior to Venom's abilities, scaling to Black*Star still matches up.
Venom gained some undefined ability increases from the Klyntar hive mind. However, Crona inherited Asura's abilities, which trump them when given similar leeway.
While different methods or examples could be implemented to measure Crona's Black Blood flooding a city, all still outperform Venom. Additionally Venom's victories over Dark Carnage and Grendel required outside help or extenuating circumstances.
