Synopsis[]

Ben is holding a light saber, which is cool.

10. Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer - But it's even better in the arcade. We all hate the prequels, but the pod racing was pretty sweet. Even though most characters don't survive the movie, Lucas Arts created a game out of it to get to know the characters more. It was awesome. Playing on the N64 wasn't as good as playing at the arcade, but the amount of stuff added make it amazing. One pod came with a flamethrower that you can use!

9. The Force Unleashed - PS2/PS3/Xbox 360/PC. The Force Unleashed shows how powerful a Jedi can be. Star Killer is a title wave of destruction, choking stormtroopers, throwing down star destroyers etc gave us the power of the force.  Combat felt really good like throwing stormtroopers into space.

8. Lego Star Wars - PS2/Xbox/PC/Game Cube. Remember when everyone's favorite Lego game was Lego Island, until Lego Star Wars came out? It was refreshing to play a colorful charming game that didn't take itself too seriously. The Star Wars game was so good that there have been franchised based Lego games every year since. They are all really good games.

7. Republic Commando - PC/Xbox. Republic Commando offered a fast paced thrill ride with a team led by you.  They don't give the characters names because they are going to die.  The environments have contextual button presses like hacking a door, using a turret. It is simple but effective.

The team is full of charismatic disposable people. "We gonna die!" The crew were trained by the people from Boba Fett. The multiplayer is not as good the campaign, but not every game can be Battlefront.

6. Star Wars: The Old Republic - PC. The massively only multiplayer game that kind of crashed and burned. TOR has a great story. This RPG has a much richer story than other MMOs have ever had. Look to it as a multiplayer version of Knights of the Old Republic.

5. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron - PC/N64. Remember the awesome first level of Rogue Squadron? The rest of the game was meh. The best levels from Shadows was turned into Rogue Squadron. Ben lists the awesome vehicles playable in the game - including a Sedan. The Naboo Starfighter was in the game a year before Phantom Menace came out. At the time it was a big deal. Nintendo let them use the expansion pak.

4. Battlefront 2 - PC/PS2/Xbox. The battles are fun, and it is awesome dive bombing Darth Vadar to death. But, Battlefront 2 lets the player play as Chewbacca. Sold!

3. Star Wars: Tie Fighter - PC/Mac/DOS. This is the best space battling simulator. This game put the player on the side of the empire. Luke and co were the bad guys. Also, playing in a TIE fighter is cool.

2. Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - PC/MAC/Xbox/Game Cube. The Star Wars games have shown some cool original characters, but none cooler then Kyle Katarn.  Ben discusses Kyle's backstory. He is responsible for everything that happened in A New Hope. It features some of the best light saber combat to date. Ben lost a  lot of hours playing the multiplayer.

1. Knights of the Old Republic - PC/MAC/Xbox. It was in the Top 10 Xbox games for a reason.  It is not just an amazing para-scope into the Star Wars universe, it's not just a D&D style RPG, not just the incredible story or writing, it's that you can be a Jedi through and through. Going on missions, exploring the galaxy, dealing with Sith lords. This is the best Star Wars experience without exception.

Parker appears out of nowhere. Ben doesn't care about Parker's opinions. Someone shoots Parker with darts, and gets a good shot! Ben kills Parker. Ben is hit with a dart from point blank from Nick.
