Craig, Jared and Chad discuss the crew's college experiences, bringing Nintendo RPG's to the west, and MagFest.

Synopsis[]
Chad is back after a week of misery. Craig was correct when he guessed that Chad was vomiting. The SAGY awards are up this week. The videos from this week are listed. Chad advertises the hoodie contest. Chad had a LAN to go to this week. One person had to sit in a closet! Craig got into Skyward Sword this week, and will be taking it slowly. He has been enjoying it, and really wants to save Zelda this time. The Wii Motion Plus isn't working for him that well.
Hard News[]
Super Smash Bros is a big deal for Nintendo. Sony is creating their own version of Super Smash Bros with Nathan Drake, Sly Cooper, Kratos among others. It will sell like crazy because people like crossovers. Craig compares the game to MvC. Jared thinks it will be closer to Marvel vs Capcom. It is a cool idea, and people will be interested in it.
EA loves shoving multiplayer in things. Dragon Age 3 will have co-op and fighting against a player controlled dragon. Chad thinks it could be cool playing the dragon. Craig compares to Gears of War. Co-op in Dead Space is stupid, because it is a horror game, and the fear comes from being alone. Mass Effect 3 has a horde mode with minor objectives. Jared makes up a game being based in space.
People are campaigning to get three of Nintendo's RPGs to the west. They have succeeded with Xenoblade Chronicles. They are taking the British version and bringing it over. Craig hopes it sells, but Craig is worried that people who signed the petition won't buy it. Jared compares it to other RPGs like Mother 3 that will never happen if this fails. Not releasing Mega Man Legeds 3 was probably the right move. Chad wonders how many people expected it to succeed. A lot of people who signed it probably have never heard of Xenoblade. Gamers do have a voice.
Middle Segment[]
MagFest is in a month. There will be a live episode of SideScrollers. It has to be crazy fun. It will be a whole different level doing it in front of a live audience. There will be live questions rather than forum questions. Girls should be on stage with them! Jared thinks it sounds dumb. It is at the Gaylord this year. Even at a smaller venue, they almost got in trouble last year. They run around and go crazy. They destroy Shaq Du cartridges. They did destroy a chair last year!
If you Google MagFest, one of the images that pops up is the urinal with Shaq Fu in it! People are starting to come with tools and things! Craig wants an obstacle course that drops an anvil for a Shaq Fu mouse trap! There are no longer any copies of the game located around the area. The crew have destroyed 17 total, but the g1s bought piles of copies to destroy! Someone had a Game Gear version last year! Gaylord is very strict.

In Connecticut, an 18 month old son went to daycare. Jared and Chad jump in with extreme suggestions. The boy had a packed lunch that included pot! The cigarette was accidentally dropped into the lunch. Nothing was found in the house. He was charged with impending the morals of a child, among other charges. Jared is not allowed near children ever if that is a law!
In Boston, Massachusetts, a 7 year old boy has been charged with sexual harassment after punching another boy in the groin! It's assault, not sexual harassment! Craig has a habit of punching people in the dick, and has yet to be charged. Craig is on the decline. The dick punching kind of stopped when Corey came on. Chad explains that Sean and Lauren hasn't been 'initiated'.
In Florida, a man released from jail two weeks ago went to the supermarket. Jared tells a story about people in jail writing creepy love letters. Jared writes it in a stabbing motion! The man gets some steaks for dinner - but puts them in his pants, stealing them. He is considered a 'career criminal'. He went straight back to jail.

Q. What did you do to make yourself stand out from other websites?
In 2006, nobody was doing what ScrewAttack were doing. There have been many copycats since. Consistency is important. Your content has to stick out. Personality is a huge thing. The community has a huge relationship with the staff. So many people feel like they need to be professional when writing a review. Talking like how gamers talk, like saying that something 'fucking sucks' works better.
Q. What university did you go to, and do you regret it.
Craig went to the University of North Texas. It took him six years. Craig took a year off for Slamball. Everyone should at least try college. Having a sheet of paper does not make you a better person. It means you can complete something. A bachelors degree isn't even good enough sometimes. Some people are leaving school nearly 30 years old. Craig studied broadcast journalism. That is where he learned how to edit - poorly.
Ben and Nick are going into Arts VGF. Bryan is too. They are much better at editing than Craig. Craig doesn't like journalism. That is why ScrewAttack started as video only. Craig didn't like reading or writing, so he scrapped that idea. YouTube is huge now. Craig writes Video Game Vaults as he talks.
Jared never went to college. Chad took a year off after school, because he hated it. Chad learned by working. He went to community college for a computer science associate. Chad got close to completing the associates. Looking back, he would have switched to business.
Craig didn't put that much effort into school, and it isn't right for some people. Ben and Nick will complete college. Sean, Bryan and Lauren all did complete college. For Chad, it was all luck that he was offered a job from Craig. You would be so much better off starting a career early rather than going to college.
Q. Is there any game that has had a profound effect on you? Gotten you emotional?
It was a weird question and nothing was said. Jared recaps the video for audio listeners. It was weird. For Jared, Final Fantasy VI, when Locke finds Rachael, Metal Gear Solid 3's ending. If Big Boss can cry, so can Jared. Chad gets pissed while playing WoW. Chad gets frustrated when he knows he can do better. Craig got emotional at the start of Skyward Sword. He wouldn't cry about it, but got attached to the characters.
Chad missed some of the birthdays from last week while he was sick. Dress as an elf was this week's challenge. Craig can't remember what this weeks was. It was to dress as a reindeer. One person was a minora! Craig cheers for the 18 year old girl, and realizes how inappropriate that was. Craig pulls up last week's episode to make sure it was reindeer.
